  教材分析

  本单元主要学习日期的表达方式。并在上一单元学习了数词的基础上学习序数词1-31。通过围绕生日进行互相问答式的讨论,掌握英语表达年,月,日的单词和句型,能够熟练地谈论各种有关日期的话题,询问表达年龄的句型以及询问节日的表达法以及能够熟练运用名词所有格形式。

  单元总体目标

  本单元通过学习使用When is ?引导的问句以及回答,教会学生如何合理的安排自己的作息时间,做时间的主人。

  单元重难点:

  1.词汇:掌握January ? December的表达;The ordinal numbers 1st -31st.

  :1.When is your birthday ? My birthday is ....

  When is Jennys birthday? Jennys birthday is ...

  2 How old are you? Im twenty-three.

  How old is he/she? He/She is ...

  3. Do you have a School Day at your school? Yes, we do./No, we dont

  Period 1(Section A1a---grammar focus)

  【学习目标】

  1、知识目标:

  词汇:when, birthday, months (January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, November, December), 1st 一 31st , date, happy, happy birthday!

  句型:--When is your birthday? -- Its April 19th.

  2、能力目标:初步学以以When..?开头的特殊疑问句以及关于日期的回答。

  3、情感目标:通过关注他人的birthday, 使学生之间更加互相关心和友爱。

  【学习过程】

  一、自主学习

  1、根据音标或录音读一读书上P47 1a中的单词,不会读的请记录(用红笔)。

  2、想想译译:

  找一找:哪些月份的拼法有相似之处呢?

  5、动手查资料,扩展知识面

  When is your birthday? 你的生日在什么时候?

  My birthday is October 10/10th/tenth.=Its October 10/10th/tenth. 我的生日在十月十日。when 是疑问词,意为__________,用来询问__________。日期的表达方式是__________如:(March 21st)月份是专有名词,第一个字母要_________,表达日期的顺序为__________或__________。如2010.11.30可以写成_______________ 或_________________。当表示在具体某天时用介词______,在年、月前用_____。

  二、通过预习,列出自己不懂的地方。

  三、课堂学习过程

  (1)讨论解决预习中存在的问题,内容为自主学习1-5部分。

  (2)跟着磁带或老师,再次朗读1a的单词,注意之前标记的不熟悉的单词。

  (3)尽快掌握课文中出现的月份名词。

  (4)处理听力1b部分,跟着磁带复述听力材料,然后再分析材料中的难易部分。

  五、总结反思:

  基数词变序数词,我们可以通过一个口诀来记忆其规律

  基变序,有规律,第一、二、三单独记。-th 要从四加起,八去t来九去e。遇到ve, f替,-ty变为tie,后跟-th莫迟疑。若想表示几十几,只变个位就可以。

  3、了解when引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。

  4、积极主动地了解他人,增进同学之间的友谊。

  【学习过程】

  一、自主学习

  1、知识海洋:birthday是由birth和day合成的单词。在英语构词法中称为合成词。类似的合成词还有:afternoon下午;backpack 双肩背包;basketball篮球;classroom教室;grandfather祖父; homework 家庭作业;notebook 笔记本。

  How old? 意为几岁了(多大了)?,是对年龄提问的特殊疑问句,其句型是:How old + be+主语?, 答句常用句型主语+be+基数词+year(s)/months old表示,也可以直接说出年龄。如:

  How old is your mother? 你的母亲多大年龄了?

  He is fifty (years old). 他五十岁了。

  How old is little Tom? 小,汤姆多大了?

  He is only eight months old. 他才八个月。

  注意:在英美国家一般不能向成年人询问年龄,尤其是女性,否则被视为不礼貌会令对方尴尬。
