The 29-year-old will now remain at the club until he is 33-years old and follows other Madrid players who have signed new deals in the past few days. Left back Marcelo, midfielder Isco and right back Dani Carvajal all tying their futures to the club until 2024.
Benzema will not play against Betis on Wednesday night as the result of a knee injury, which will sideline him for another couple of weeks.
