七年级英语上册Module 9 Unit 2导学案
一、内容
本模块以动物为话题,介绍了世界各地的动物及其栖息地、习性等,同时也唤起学生热爱动物,保护动物的意识。内容紧密结合初中学生所熟悉和喜爱的话题而展开听、说、读、写的语言实践活动。使学生既开阔了眼界又增长了知识。本节课是给学生上本模块的第二单元,要求学生能读懂有关介绍动物的篇章,并能找出文中相关细节信息。本模块的语法重点是一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答。
二、学生分析
通过Unit1的,学生已经掌握了一些动物词汇,已经初步接触过一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答表达形式,而Unit 2主要是学习各大洲词汇和阅读介绍动物栖息地、习性的文章。本单元是学生学习的重点,也就是有许多知识点需要学生理解和掌握。只要合理地进行教学设计,学生将能够很好地对所学知识进行综合运用,取得良好的教学效果。
三、设计思想
本人围绕本课的教学重点项目,对教材内容作了以下的处理:在通过用多媒体呈现一些动物的图片,引导学生谈论动物的栖息地和巩固一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答;通过用多媒体呈现一些动物被残害的图片来进行德育渗透,来唤起学生热爱动物,保护动物的意识。同时在教学过程中通过猜谜、趣味问答问题以及Chant 活动,充分调动学生积极性,课堂气氛活跃,在教学过程中兼顾知识的运用能力培养以及文化素养的提升,培养了学生实践能力和创造能力,使学生在特定环境中领悟语言,拓宽视野,获得乐趣和成就感。
四、教学目标

1)能够听说读写本单元出现的词汇Africa, African, America, American, Asia, Asian, Europe, European, Arctic
trip, zoo, guide, thousand, visit, every, animal, more, bamboo, desert, forest, grass, grassland, jungle, India, leaf, world Come from, live in the desert...
2)学会读懂有关介绍动物的简单文章,并从中获取重要相关细节信息,进行简单的阅读技能训练
2.学习策略:一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。
3.文化意识:热爱动物,关爱动物.了解常见动物在英语国家中的文化含义
4.情感态度:
在用英语交流中,培养热爱动物,保护动物的意识。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。

1、Warming-up and greeting
Teachers always greet to the students in order to make them feel relaxed before the new lesson.

2. Show the students the cartoon movie and lead to the new lesson.
借助播放一段精彩的动画录像来引发学生的学习兴趣,创设英语学习的良好氛围,师生在欣赏动画片的状态下明确教学目标,发挥目标导向作用。
Step Ⅱ Revision
1.Revise the words of animals.
1)用多媒体课件呈现一些动物的图片,ask the students to remember the animals.
2).出示动物的某一部位的图片,让学生进行猜动物比赛。是巩固词汇的有趣的方法以及能很好的激发学生学习的积极性.
StepⅢ. Presentation
1. Learn the new words. (grassland /desert/forest/jungle)
用多媒体课件呈现一些草原,沙漠,森林,丛林的图片来认识这些新单词。
2.Show a map of the world to learn the words of continents
(Africa/African/Europe/European/Asia/Asian/Oceania/Oceanian/South America/North America)
3. Fill in the blank to consolidate the continents.
以表格的形式呈现更能使学生分辨名词和形容词的区别。
4.Ask the students to enjoy the video of the animals in the zoo.
播放一段动物在动物园里活动的录像,能及时消除疲劳提高课堂效率。
5.Present the sentences after watching the video.

以不同动物的图片呈现来操练句型,容易使学生明确动物的栖息地以及区分名词和形容词的用法。同时也是把篇章中出现的重点和难点句型提前操练,为下一步阅读课文减小难度。
6.Show the pictures of the different animals and ask the students to practise in pairs.
全班学生都有机会轮流进行两人小组对话练习,目的是提高学生口语的表达能力。
Step Ⅳ. Reading
1.Read the passage and answer the questions.

Where does the kangaroo live?
Where does the monkey live?
Where does this snake come from?
2.Read again and choose the correct answers.
通过多媒体课件把学生感兴趣的动物图片与相对应的问题连接起来。
First ask the students what his or her favourite animal is. Then answer the question about it. 这一个环节的活动能把回答问题的枯燥变成令学生感兴趣的活动,而且能使学生主动参与课堂活动,增强学生的学习自信心。

1.Listen to the tape and practice reading.
