So you need to read a book. It will tell how to look after an e-dog. This book is an instruction book. Look! Hobo and Eddie are talking. Do you want to know what they are talking about?
Step3. Listening
① (Books closed) Ask Ss to listen to the tape of the comic strip with one question.
Who is the master?
② (Books open) Listen again. After listening, ask more questions:
Who is Hobo? (He is the e-dog.)
What’s in Hobo’s hands? (A book.)
What does the book say? (How to look after your e-dog.)
Does Eddie like Hobo? How do you know that?
